See things in a whole new light. Hint at the past. Elude to the future. Embody your images, your art, your photographs of loved ones and your dreams within four corners, or the perfect curvature of an oval. Mitrebox Framing Studio will help you select the visual design for your images and objects in styles that work for you.

Those seeking quality framing combining style and craftsmanship will find themselves at the doorstep of Mitrebox in the North Loop of the Minneapolis Warehouse District. Mitrebox carries an unparalleled selection of framing materials, procured from all four corners of our world.

Professionally schooled in framing and visual design–as well as all aspects of archival framing, mounting and matting–the Mitrebox team will co-create with you to produce the perfect custom frame design.

The Mitrebox showroom features hundreds of framing mouldings, as well as, fine photo frames, beveled mirrors, letter-pressed cards, gifts and vintage items to charm your family and friends or to enhance your home.

Mary Fajack

Mary is a woman of many interests including culinary tinkering, art collecting, contemporary fiction reading, and local arts going. Mary brings her aesthetic sensibility and enthusiasm to the customers at Mitrebox.

Mary holds a BA in Interior Design and has over fifteen years experience in art consulting, graphic design and publishing and advertising.

On most mornings one can find Mary walking her dog Libby around the lakes. And on Sunday, when Mitrebox is closed, Mary will be sitting in a comfortable chair, reading the New York Times and planning the day's menu made of organic, seasonal produce.

Sara Nachreiner

Unlike other newborns, Sara could distinguish color from birth. From a very early age, she was obsessed with color-organizing her crayons and was often discovered with glue on her fingertips and with a sparkle in her eye.

Sara holds her BA in Interior Design and has been working in framing design and production for over seventeen years. Her design aesthetic is influenced by a sabbatical year in Vienna, other trips abroad, and studies of art history and design history.

During non-Mitrebox hours, Sara can be spotted at local art events, on hikes with Elsa (her dog + store pet), digging for bargains at garage sales and flea markets, fixing up her fixer-upper, digging holes in her backyard, traveling Northeast Minneapolis, St. Paul and beyond, and building functional art.
